And we,their teachers, need to equip them through creative teaching. Hence, here I try to unravel the nuts and bolts behind these ideas, to find out what creative teaching is all about and how it can be implemented in the classroom.

The Mini Puppets of Characters

Here are some of the mini puppets of the characters in our literature books.The students may use these mini puppets to explain about the characteristics learnt .

By doing these on their very own, the interest grew deeper as they have to know the background and details of every character eg Tanya, Mother Bear,Film-maker and Grandma.

My students kept these characters in their own personal portfolios and they wrote their
personal responses on each of the character.

As for these , are the combination of character and word card. The students can utilize these two items when there is a HOT SEAT session.
